Which Ingenium Oil Does Your Range Rover Evoque Need?
Land Rover’s Ingenium engines use JLR’s own oil approvals. The 2.0 diesel takes 0W-30 to STJLR.03.5007 — a low-SAPS oil with anti-wear additives aimed at the timing chain while staying DPF-safe. The 2.0 petrol (and the 1.5 three-cylinder PHEV) takes a thinner 0W-20. A correct JLR-approved oil is especially important given off-road and towing loads.

Land Rover’s interval should never exceed 12 months or 16,000 miles, and should be halved for frequent towing or off-road use. After deep wading, check the oil for water contamination and change it immediately if it looks milky.
